THE BRISTOL PARKS PROJECT AT NATURE FESTIVAL 2023

We are thrilled to share that the Bristol Parks Project was invited to participate in the 2023 Festival of Nature in Bristol! The festival celebrates the natural world, and we were honoured to be a part of it.

We were asked to create a film for the festival, which was shown on the "We The Curious" electric billboard on Millennium Square in Bristol. This film celebrates the beauty of British nature and wildlife, with some scenes filmed right here in Bristol's parks!

We also led a photography workshop in Castle Park, where we taught participants how to take pictures of nature. The workshop was a great success, and we were delighted to see so many people interested in learning more about nature photography.

In addition, we were invited to give a talk about the Bristol Parks Project. The talk was well-received, and we were able to share our work with a wider audience.

We had an amazing time at the Festival of Nature 2023. We met so many wonderful people, and we learned a lot about the importance of protecting our natural world. We are already looking forward to the next festival!

HERE ARE SOME OF THE THINGS WE LEARNED FROM THE FESTIVAL:

  • The importance of community involvement in protecting our parks and green spaces.
  • The a need for more education about the natural world.
  • The power of art and photography to raise awareness about environmental issues.

We are grateful for the opportunity to have participated in the Nature Festival 2023. It was a truly inspiring experience, and we are committed to continuing our work to protect Bristol's parks and green spaces.

We would like to thank the following people and organizations for their support:
