The Nature Photography Walks with Greater Brislington Together

A collaborative effort between Boys in Bristol Photography and the Greater Brislington Together, unfolded as a resounding success! Over five separate workshops, we embarked on a captivating exploration of various parks and green spaces nestled within the charming Brislington area.

Our mission was: To inspire participation and foster a deeper connection with nature. As avid photographers, we aimed to introduce participants to the art of capturing the natural world through their lenses. From the play of light on leaves to the intricate details of wildlife, each frame held a story waiting to be told.

Unveiling Hidden Gems

The heart of our endeavour lay in unearthing hidden gems — those serene pockets of greenery that often go unnoticed. The parks in the BS3 postcode area became our canvas, and we revelled in their diversity. Here are some of the remarkable locations we explored:

Arnos Court Park

Our sold-out workshop at Arnos Court Park was a testament to the community's enthusiasm. Amidst ancient trees and blooming flower beds, participants honed their skills, capturing the essence of this historic park.

Brislington Brook - Nightingale Valley

The babbling brook and lush foliage provided the perfect backdrop for our creative endeavours. Here, we discovered the delicate balance between light and shadow.

Eastwood Farm

Nestled along Broomhill Road, Eastwood Farm welcomed us with open arms. The tranquil waters mirrored the sky, inviting reflections and contemplation.

A Tapestry of Participants

Our workshops transcended age and background. Young and old, novices and seasoned photographers, converged to share their passion. The diversity of perspectives enriched our experience, reminding us that nature's beauty knows no boundaries.

As shutters clicked and compositions took shape, friendships blossomed. We exchanged tips, laughed over mischievous squirrels, and marvelled at the intricate patterns of leaves. Each photograph became a memory etched in time—a testament to our shared love for the outdoors.
